Civility Institute, LLC. focuses on delivering training products that are specifically designed to promote civility and other progressive social, emotional, and mental developments for its learners. With an extensive background in education and training, we have a clear understanding of what it takes to create impactful materials that stimulate both teaching and learning.

Civility in Action (CIA) is a proprietary curriculum created by Candace B. Fleming, Founder & CEO of Civility Intitute, LLC.  It is a comprehensive and interactive guide to teach youth a positive set of tools and behavior choices as an alternative to antisocial behaviors.

Candace spent more than a decade leading learners in one of the largest school districts in Texas where she taught 8th Grade Language Arts & Reading. She also served as an Instructional Coach, Skills Specialists and Department Chair for 7th and 8th Grade teachers, while she aided in curriculum writing for the district. Her passion for effectively reaching students and ensuring that teachers understand the power of culturally responsive teaching are the foundation for Civility Institute.
